Payment Policy
At Gravoks, a brand operated by Gravox Oy, we aim to provide customers with a secure, clear, and transparent checkout experience. This Payment Policy explains the payment process for orders placed through our website.
1. Accepted Payment Methods
We accept the payment methods displayed as available during checkout. Depending on your location, device, order details, and the payment services enabled on our website, these may include:
Visa
Mastercard
American Express
Maestro
PayPal
Shop Pay
Apple Pay
Google Pay
Other payment methods offered through Shopify or our approved payment service providers
The availability of a payment method is not guaranteed and may vary by customer, country, device, browser, currency, and payment provider.
The payment options displayed at checkout are the currently available methods for your order.
2. Prices and Currency
Product prices and the applicable checkout currency are displayed on our website and during checkout.
Before completing your purchase, you will be shown the total amount payable, including:
Product prices
Applicable taxes
Shipping charges, where applicable
Any other charges clearly disclosed during checkout
Customers are responsible for reviewing the complete order total before submitting payment.
Your bank, card issuer, or payment provider may charge currency-conversion fees, international transaction fees, or other service fees. These charges are controlled by the relevant provider and are not collected by Gravoks.
3. When Payment Is Taken
Payment is required when you place an order.
Depending on the selected payment method and payment provider, the transaction may be:
Charged immediately
Authorized first and captured after the order is confirmed
Processed according to the payment provider’s applicable terms
An order is not considered successfully placed until the payment has been authorized or otherwise accepted by the relevant payment provider and an order confirmation has been issued.
4. Payment Security
Payments are processed through Shopify and approved third-party payment service providers.
Gravox Oy does not directly store customers’ complete payment-card numbers or card security codes.
Payment information is handled by the relevant payment provider using its security procedures and, where applicable, encryption and authentication technologies.
Customers are responsible for keeping their payment-account details, passwords, devices, and authentication information secure.
5. Payment Authorization
By submitting an order, you confirm that:
You are authorized to use the selected payment method
The billing and payment information provided is accurate
Sufficient funds or credit are available to complete the purchase
You authorize the applicable payment provider to process the transaction
Providing false, incomplete, or unauthorized payment information may result in the order being delayed, rejected, or cancelled.
6. Failed or Declined Payments
An order may not be completed if payment is:
Declined
Unsuccessful
Unauthorized
Expired
Incomplete
Rejected by the payment provider
Flagged for additional verification
If your payment cannot be processed, please check the information entered, try another available payment method, or contact your bank, card issuer, or payment provider.
Gravoks may not receive detailed information about why a payment was declined.
7. Pending or Duplicate Charges
Some banks and payment providers may display a temporary pending authorization after an attempted or completed payment.
A pending authorization is not always a completed charge. If an order was unsuccessful or cancelled, the authorization will normally be released according to the bank’s or payment provider’s processing schedule.
If you notice what appears to be a duplicate charge, please contact us with your order number and relevant payment details. Do not send complete card numbers, card security codes, passwords, or other sensitive financial information by email.
8. Fraud Prevention and Verification
To protect customers and our business against fraud, unauthorized transactions, and payment abuse, we may review orders containing unusual or inconsistent information.
We may:
Request additional verification
Temporarily place an order on hold
Contact the customer using the information provided with the order
Refuse or cancel an order where payment authorization cannot be confirmed
Cancel an order that appears fraudulent or unauthorized
Verification requests do not guarantee that an order will be accepted.
9. Pricing, Payment, or Technical Errors
We make reasonable efforts to keep product prices, payment information, and checkout details accurate. However, technical, typographical, system, or pricing errors may occasionally occur.
If an error materially affects an order, we may contact you for clarification or cancel the affected order.
If payment has already been collected for a cancelled order, the appropriate amount will be refunded to the original payment method.
10. Refunds
Approved refunds are issued to the original payment method used for the purchase unless another method is required by applicable law or agreed with the customer.
After a refund is issued, the time required for it to appear in your account depends on your bank, card issuer, or payment provider.
For complete information about return eligibility, return instructions, and refund processing, please review our Return and Refund Policy.
11. Chargebacks and Payment Disputes
If you believe that a payment was incorrect, duplicated, unauthorized, or connected to an unresolved order issue, please contact us before starting a chargeback or payment dispute.
We will review the matter and attempt to provide an appropriate resolution.
Nothing in this section limits any rights you may have under applicable consumer protection or payment-services laws.
